Anyone who is young at heart. RELICS was designed for adults, and is loved by children of all ages. There are layers of stories to be discovered that will delight audiences of any age. RELICS has three levels of Scavenger Hunts: YOUNG - designed for children, YOUNG ADULT - designed for teens, and YOUNG AT HEART - designed for adults.

RELICS: A New World Rises is dedicated to being an enjoyable and accessible experience for visitors.
The RELICS experience consists of visual and auditory components, as well as a hands-on, build-your-own activity space.
RELICS has an Audio Description Tour designed for people who are blind or visually impaired. You can access the Audio Description Tour files on your own device via a QR code during your visit or access them directly here: https://www.relicsexhibitions.com/audio-description-tourThe exhibition is accessible for wheelchairs.
Paid assistants can obtain complimentary tickets to paid exhibitions, events, and programmes they are attending with the ticket holder.
Please note some displays have flashing lights. -
There is no set timeframe for your visit, ticket holders are welcome to enjoy the exhibition at their own pace.

Children tickets are aged from 3 - 18 years. Children aged 2 years and under are free.

The Tūhura Otago Museum encourages visitors to use public and active transport options where possible, however visitors can also easily reach the Museum via car.
Metered street parking is available around the Museum from $2/hour.
Bus stops are located on Albany Street, at the edge of the Museum Reserve. Information on timetables and routes can be found at the Otago Regional Council website. -
Food and drink are unfortunately not allowed inside the RELICS exhibition space. You may take bottled water into the exhibition gallery.
